POS System Structured Information System

 Target uses its own in-house POS system that their IT department created. Specifically, Target technology services. There are two servers per store that allow Target to run up to 30 registers, inventory, stock control, and Pharmacy databases at the same time. Most of Target's POS software is run on Microsoft Windows while the Pharmacy uses Linux. Target is able to know the demand for all of their products due to the POS process working together with their Inventory Management Software. (Jaheim)
